Photo tour Day of the Navy 2014

Photo-report before the day of the Navy in St. Petersburg

My acquaintance with the cultural capital of Russia with a camera in my hands, I was determined on the day of the Navy. Thinking it over, I decided to make a detour the day before. Otherwise it was not to get through in the city on this holiday. Having started my walk from the Promenade des Anglais, I was inspired by the lighting and took pictures of everything that interested me. First of all, the objects of the upcoming holiday were caught in the eye: ships and a reel. On the base was found the process of preparation, namely, a sailor who was doing something with the deck. The ships were decorated with flags and looked great against the background of the river and the clear sky. A little tired from the glare of the sun on the water and the heat from heaven, I set out on a walk through the back streets of the city center. I was somewhat surprised by my discovery - tourists do not see a lot of interesting things in the city. And most of these interesting things are hidden from the eyes of ordinary passers-by on the walls and roofs of buildings. In the photo you can see magnificent balconies on the Promenade des Anglais and an excellent composition of sculptures on the roof of the houses of one alley.
